American 60 Minutes recently featured a story on Resveratrol, a naturally occurring component of red wine that may extend human life.

It was also demonstrated that when the Sirt1 gene is activated, lifespan is increased. For this reason Sirt 1 is also referred as “Longevity Gene”. It was found that the “Longevity Gene” is also activated by a substance called Resveratrol. No other molecule is known to have this ability and the effects mimic those of calorie restriction, the only proven way for weight loss, extending maximum life span & anti aging.
